Because we believe that transformative education happens only in the context of relationships, a key component in facilitating the development of our students is the cultivation of a family atmosphere within our school community. To achieve this, we have formed six families within the Elementary School that throughout the year will worship together, celebrate together, serve together, and hold one another accountable. Each family name represents a Christ-like virtue that reflects the heart of our school verse, Colossians 3:23. We want to be people of friendship, compassion, honor, diligence, humility and courage as we live in community and help one another. To accomplish this vision, each student and teacher become a part of one of these families while they are in Elementary School. Within their families, students encourage and support one another in living out our Sabre Standards—values that reflect a life that honors God and others. In partnership with parents, we seek to instill these biblical principles in the hearts of our students, helping them grow in character, faith, and purpose. Together, we equip students to develop their God-given gifts and become the individuals He has created them to be.
Colossians 3:23
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord…
