Experience SCS

The best way to fully experience all Southside Christian School has to offer is to see our campus in person. Join us for a private tour of our campus, visit an open house, participate in our shadowing program, or attend an athletic or fine arts event.
We invite you to visit our campus and see firsthand what makes us different. Our open houses allow you to meet our administrators, teachers, parents, and students, and give you the opportunity to learn about our academic programs and visit classes. Open houses are held from October through March. Private tours may also be scheduled anytime throughout the year.

  • Is your campus secure?

Student safety is a top priority. We employ an off-duty Greenville County Deputy Sheriff during the school day. We are an ALICE certified organization. We require all visitors to scan their IDs for a background check, and guests wear a visitor's badge while on campus.
  • Opportunities for learning outside the classroom?

Many opportunities for clubs and activities are available to students in grades 1-12. An annual week-long JTerm allows high school students to explore careers through internships, the world through international travel, and unique classes they might not otherwise experience in a traditional high school setting. Additional club opportunities include: GEMS (girls excelling in math and science), SCS Today (Broadcast Journalism Club), Bible Quiz Team, Spanish Club, Student Government, Drama, Black History Club, Tri-M Music Honor Society, National Honor Society, Chick-fil-a Leadership Club, Lego League, Entrepreneurship Club, and many others.
