Volleyball in Action

Energy, precision, and relentless teamwork take center court as our Sabre Volleyball program continues to set the bar high this season. Every rally on the court reflects hours of grit in practice, a commitment to athletic excellence, and a shared passion for competing at the highest level. Beyond the scoreboard, our student-athletes embody sportsmanship and camaraderie, lifting one another through every triumph and tough point alike. As the team pushes forward into the heart of their schedule, their dedication on the court serves as a powerful reminder of what it means to strive for greatness together as one Sabre community.

A Stellar Performance

From his very first bow to his latest center-stage performance, Ethan McClain ('34) continues to capture hearts across the Sabre Playhouse. Whether mastering choreography, learning lines, or supporting his fellow castmates, Ethan brings an unparalleled level of passion and joy to every production. Sabre Playhouse Director Elisa Langdale warmly reflects:

“Ethan is one of those special students who is always a joy to work with. He comes into every rehearsal prepared to learn, gives 100% in every performance, and, most importantly, is just as kind and genuine offstage as he is talented onstage. Ethan first stepped onto the Sabre Playhouse stage as Flounder in Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR., and it has been such a joy to watch him grow as a performer ever since. I cannot wait to see where his theatrical journey takes him next!”
Ethan’s dedication to his craft and his encouraging spirit exemplify the heart of our theatre department, reminding us that true stardom is found as much in character offstage as talent on it.

Five Stars for Excellence

Excellence at SCS extends far beyond the classroom, lived out daily in acts of leadership, integrity, and service to others. Recently, the Director of Student Life and International Relations hosted High School Night of Honor, an annual event celebrating the academic achievements and service of our students through the induction of new members into five nationally chartered organizations: Tri-M Honor Society, International Thespian Society, Interact Club, Beta Club, and National Honor Society. Together, these organizations cultivate a community grounded in service, character, academic excellence, and leadership. We celebrate all of our student leaders for using their talents to inspire their peers, elevate our campus, and make a lasting impact on the world around them.
