Student Life

Community Service

At Southside Christian School, we want our students to grow and develop a heart for serving those around them. As followers of Christ, we believe we are called to model His words in Matthew 20:28, “Even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve...”

Students engage in a consistent lifestyle of service rather than focusing on a single event or day. Our school provides and invites students to participate in the building of Christ’s Kingdom through regular service to the same individuals, allowing them to establish relationships and share the hope of Jesus.

We partner with organizations locally, regionally, and globally. Some of our partnerships are World Relief, the Special Olympics, Freedom International Ministry (our sister school in the Dominican Republic), American Red Cross, and Operation Christmas Child. Our students also have opportunities to work with other organizations through Interact Club, National Honor Society, and National Junior Honor Society.
