Freedom Christian School receive water bottles
During our 2022 Benevolence project SCS raised money in order to purchase water bottles for Freedom Christian School in the Dominican Republic. We received the below statement from the school after passing out all the new water bottles.
"The pictures show our new reality, brand new metal water bottles being filled for students! Beforehand, there weren't very many water bottles to fill. If students would bring one, most of the time it was an empty, used, plastic Sprite or Coke bottle. Now, we can ensure that students fill up upon arrival and at lunch with enough water to last the morning and afternoon. They can also fill up before heading home which means they don't have to buy as much clean drinking water in their village. The kids are definitely excited and thankful for this blessing! "
