Mary Claire Makes a Difference as Wee Miss South Carolina

Southside Christian School student, Mary Claire, has made a difference this year as Wee Miss South Carolina in the Little Miss South Carolina program.
She has volunteered, made new friends, and given back to the community in many ways. She collected Toys for Tots, participated in Operation Christmas Child, and donated at multiple blessing boxes and book drop-offs.
She made a wreath that was auctioned for Prisma Health Children’s Hospital, helped collect crayons for Crayons for Kids, and donated items for animal shelters.
She also had the opportunity to participate in several parades across the state.
She recently visited the Statehouse, where she and the Little Miss South Carolina court were recognized on the House and Senate floors. She was able to meet Governor Henry McMaster and Lieutenant Governor Pamela Evette.
The Little Miss and Teen Miss South Carolina Pageant teaches the importance of community service, academic excellence, and kindness.
We are grateful that Mary Claire has had this opportunity to serve the community in this way!
