After graduating from Southside Christian in 2012, Chalice graduated from Bob Jones University in 2016 with a degree in nursing. She currently works as the Assistant Nurse Manager in the Intensive Care Unit with the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
Also a graduate from SCS, her husband, Andrew, has had the opportunity to work for both professional and collegiate institutions, utilizing his degree in sports management from North Greenville University and his masters from Liberty University. Andrew currently works for the Cleveland Cavaliers, which has given him opportunities for travel.
Chalice is currently working on a Doctorate in Nurse Practitioner with Cleveland State University and will graduate as a Doctorate prepared Family Nurse Practitioner.
During their free time, they love going to Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Cleveland Indian games. They also enjoy hiking, traveling, visiting family, and relaxing over coffee and Netflix.
Chalice says, “SCS prepared us both for the future by allowing us to be challenged not only academically, but also spiritually. Without the encouragement from the teachers to be the best we could be and strive for greatness, the athletics that taught us teamwork, time management, grit, and handwork, and the opportunities for community outreach that taught us the importance of giving back to the community, we would not be where we are today.”
They are also expecting their first baby, Andrew Jr., this September. Congratulations, Chalice and Andrew!
