Early Education

The Early Education program includes students from 12 months through Kindergarten. The curriculum is designed to meet each child’s developmental needs by offering a stimulating hands-on approach to learning, which encourages appropriate development of emotional stability, social competency, intellectual ability, and spiritual awareness and maturity.

Toddlers (beginning at 12 months)

The Toddler classes encourage each child’s development through play and varied experiences. The curriculum emphasizes each child’s social and emotional development, fine and gross motor skills, cognitive and creative ability, and spirtitual development. Programs are offered five days, three days (MWF), or two days (TTh) per week.

Morning Program: 8:15 a.m.-12:20 p.m.   |   Extended Day: 12:20 p.m.-3 p.m.

Pre-K 2 and Pre-K 3

The Pre-K 2 and Pre-K 3 classes focus on developing our students’ social, emotional, cognitive, and language skills. Children have individual and group play in centers where they learn valuable social and thinking skills. They develop spiritually and emotionally with a weekly Bible theme and daily prayer time. Other classroom activities and experiences relate to the weekly theme , such as a preschool math, art, or science lesson. Programs are offered five days, three days (MWF), or two days (TTh) per week.

Morning Program: 8:15 a.m.-12:20 p.m.   |   Extended Day: 12:20 p.m.-3 p.m.

Pre-K 4, Pre-K 5, and Kindergarten

The Pre-K 4, Pre-K 5, and Kindergarten instructional programs provide age-appropriate activities for spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social, and physical growth. The gospel is taught in the classroom and interwoven in various activities. The program focuses on character development, encourages obedience and positive attitudes, provides supervised exploration to develop cognitive skills, and encourages creativity in art and music. Core subjects include Bible, English language arts, math, science, and social studies. Students have co-curricular classes of chapel, music, library, Spanish, and physical education. Pre-K 5 and Kindergarten classes have STEAM lab each week. The preschool programs (Pre-K 4) are offered five days and three days (MWF) per week. Kindergarten is offered as a full or half-day program.

Early Education Chapel is designed to lead young children to love God, to participate in worship, and to learn how to serve Him. Students in Pre-K 4 through Kindergarten are provided a variety of experiences including worship through music, Scripture, and dramatization of Bible stories. Students are also introduced to guests who share how they impact the world by serving God. Each class has the opportunity to present a chapel, allowing the students to participate in leading worship time. We seek to plant seeds of God’s truth in the hearts of young children, anticipating a rich harvest in years to come.

It is a great feeling to drop your child off at a school where you know they are valued, cared for, challenged academically, and most importantly, taught to love the Lord.
