Early Education

Early Education consists of students from 12 months through kindergarten. The curriculum is designed to meet each child’s developmental needs by offering a stimulating hands-on approach to learning. This encourages appropriate development of emotional stability, social competency, intellectual ability, and spiritual awareness and maturity.

12 months – Toddler

Our Early Education classes encourage each child’s development in an environment focused on sharing God’s love. We partner with parents by providing a high quality, safe, healthy, loving environment while offering fun learning experiences. The teachers are committed to planting the seed of God’s love through a biblically integrated curriculum. Our focus is on developing the whole child with a scaffolding approach. The complexity of skills and materials presented increases at each level corresponding to developmental expectations. Programs are offered five days, three days (MWF), or two days (TTh) per week.

Morning Program: 8:15 a.m.-12:20 p.m. | Extended Day: 12:20 p.m.-3:00 p.m.

Pre-K 2 and Pre-K 3

Our Pre-K 2 and Pre-K 3 curriculums focus on developing our students’ social, emotional, cognitive, and language skills. Children will have individual and group play in centers where they will learn valuable social and thinking skills.

They will develop spiritually and emotionally with a weekly Bible theme and daily prayer time. Other classroom activities and experiences will relate to the weekly theme (such as a preschool math, art, or science lesson). We will assist your child in developing autonomy by allowing for achievable accomplishments.  Programs are offered five days, three days (MWF), or two days (TTh) per week.

Morning Program: 8:15 a.m.-12:20 p.m. | Extended Day: 12:20 p.m.-3:00 p.m.

Pre-K 4, Pre-K 5, and Kindergarten

Our Pre-K 4, Pre-K 5 and Kindergarten instructional programs provide age-appropriate activities for spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social, and physical growth. Christian moral and spiritual values are taught in the classroom and are interwoven throughout each day’s activities.

Character development is encouraged by teaching first-time obedience, proper responses, and correct attitudes. Opportunities are provided for supervised exploration and experimentation that develop cognitive skills. Pro-social techniques such as sharing, cooperation, helping, taking turns, and problem-solving are encouraged. The curriculum provides creative art and musical experiences as well as activities to develop both fine and gross motor skills. Core subjects taught include Bible, English language arts, math, science, and social studies. Students will have weekly co-curricular classes of chapel, music, library, and physical education (and Spanish for Kindergarten) and they will have the opportunity to participate in our hands-on Explore Lab. The preschool programs (pre-K 4 and pre-K 5) are offered five days, three days (MWF), or two days (TTh) per week. Kindergarten is offered as a full or half day program.

Chapel

Early Education Chapel is designed to lead young children to love God, to participate in worship, and to learn how to serve Him through their lives. Students in Pre-K 3 through Kindergarten are provided a variety of experiences including worship through music, scripture, and dramatization of Bible stories. Students are also introduced to guests who share how they impact the world by serving God. Each class has the opportunity to present a chapel, allowing the students to participate in leading worship time. We seek to plant seeds of God’s truth in the hearts of young children, anticipating a rich harvest in years to come.
