LOWER SCHOOL NEWS
SCS will host Camp Invention again this summer from June 10-14 for students entering grades K-6. Under the leadership of Mrs. Angela Henderson, LS STEM teacher, students will engage in real-world problem solving, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Students will team up to build and test working prototypes, gain confidence by completing hands-on challenges, and create and take home their own superhero gadget! High school exams and middle school end of semester tests are coming up. Please see the schedule below for the test times.
ARC students will be the only exception to the time limits. First session exams for ARC students will begin at 8:30 a.m. and second session exams for ARC students will be extended until 1 p.m.

FINE ARTS CONCERTS
The Upper School Fine Arts Department will be presenting their spring concerts next week. The 6th through 12th grade bands and handbell concert will be Tuesday, May 7, the string orchestra concert will be Wednesday, May 8, and the choir concert will be Thursday, May 9. Each concert will be held in the Fine Arts Center at 7 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
ATHLETIC AWARDS BANQUET
The Athletic Awards Banquet will be May 17 at 7 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center. The keynote speaker will be Brian Bratton, wide receivers coach at Furman University. Admission is free to student-athletes, coaches and the athletic association members. Please email Laura Adair to RSVP by May 15 if you qualify for a free ticket. Tickets are available to adults for $15 and students for $10. Online ticket sales will end Monday, May 13. After that, tickets will be available for purchase the night of the event for $20 at the door. To buy tickets, please click here. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
