Classes are filling up, but we still have room for students from 12 months through 12th grade. Tell a friend or neighbor about our Open House tomorrow at 9 a.m., so we can partner with them to help their student discover, grow, and achieve all God has in store for them. Walk-ins are welcome!

LOWER SCHOOL & EARLY EDUCATION SPRING PICTURES
The Lower School and Early Education spring pictures will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 12 and 13.
The National Inventors Hall of Fame (NIHF) is hosting a contest in March for girls in Kindergarten through 6th grade who register for Camp Invention. Their goal is to promote a 50/50 gender balance in their camps by 2020. The camp includes hands-on activities inspired by NIHF Inductees, which will provide girls with valuable exposure to innovation. Save $25 at registration by using the promo code GIRL25W. EARLY EDUCATION NEWS
SummerQuest partners with parents in providing a safe, nurturing, and fun-filled learning environment for the summer. Registration is open to currently enrolled (2018-2019) Early Learners through First Grade. Campers remain in their current age-appropriate groupings. Students enrolling for the 2019-2020 school year, Toddlers (DOB after October 1, 2017) through Kindergarten, may attend as space is available. Early bird half price registration fee deadline is March 15. There will be a late registration fee of $50 beginning April 1. The deadline to register is April 27. Southside Christian School provides enrichment opportunities for your child during the school year. In addition to after-school child care (Sabre Kids Time), we also offer EdVenture classes after school. This program provides opportunities for your child to stay on campus and conveniently participate in a variety of classes. LOWER STEM NIGHT
Lower School STEM Night is tonight from 6-8 p.m. Come enjoy a night with your family as we explore science and math in sports. Roper Mountain Science will be doing a chemistry stage show, and we will have a few surprises as well. Students will be rotating by their grade. Students who attend will receive three points for their family, plus two more points for each friend they bring with them. Tropical Grille will be available for purchase before the event.

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC MISSION TRIP
The SCS Domican Republic Mission Trip from June 8-15 will include spending time with the locals, reflecting what God is doing in your own life, and partnering with Freedom International to make an impact on the kingdom of God. Anyone interested in serving on the mission trip should contact Pastor Colin Urbanick. Deadline for the trip sign-up is March 15.
JTERM 2019-2020 TRIP REGISTRATION
JTerm 2019-2020 trip registration is now open! Click here for more information about the different travel options and summer 2019 experiences being offered next school year. Students may sign up with the trip sponsor for summer 2019 and winter 2020 trips.
PING PONG TOURNAMENT
The International Homestay Program will be hosting the annual Upper School Ping Pong Tournament on Friday, March 15 in the Sabre Center from 6-8 p.m. Students in grades 6-12 are invited to attend and participate. There will be prizes awarded to the top winners in both the singles and doubles categories.

JACOB R. OAKS MEMORIAL PARK DEDICATION
Please join us tomorrow night at 5:35 p.m. before the baseball game for the dedication of the Jacob R. Oaks Memorial Field. If the game is canceled due to weather, the dedication ceremony will be held on Friday, March 15.
DR. SEUSS CELEBRATION WEEK
Kindergarten has been celebrating the life and works of Dr. Seuss this week. Each day has had a special theme to correlate with one of the books. Monday’s theme was “Cat in the Hat.”
LETTERS FOR THE LADY BULLDOGS
The 4th and 5th grade Advance Math classes are going to attend the SEC women’s basketball tournament. They have been paired with the University of Georgia women’s basketball team. Students have been writing the players letters and creating posters to cheer on the Lady Bulldogs.
