SABRE MOMS AND DADS IN PRAYER
Sabre Moms and Dads in Prayer is a great opportunity to pray over our school, students, teachers, and staff each week, and be an encouragement and support to other parents. See below for meeting times and locations.
Moms in Prayer
Join other SCS moms as they meet to pray on Thursday mornings at 8:15 a.m. in room 1334 (the strings room). For more information, please contact Tabitha Randol.
Dads in Prayer
Join other SCS dads as they meet to pray every other Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. beginning August 21 in room 1334 (the strings room). For more information, please contact Marc McNatt.
NEW STUDENT AND FAMILY TAILGATE
New students and families are invited to attend the New Student and Family Tailgate on Friday, August 23 before the first home football game. Drop-in will be from 6-7:30 p.m. on the grassy area outside the Sabre Center. Don’t forget to bring your blanket or chair. To RSVP, please email Abby Watson with the number of complimentary meals and/or tickets for your family. Please RSVP by tomorrow, August 16.
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL NEWS
FAMILY ADOPTION DAY
The Elementary School will celebrate Family Adoption Day on Tuesday, August 20 at 8:30 a.m. in the Fine Arts Center as new and rising first grade students will be officially adopted into their SCS Families. Parents are welcome to join us for this exciting event!
MIDDLE SCHOOL NEWS
MIDDLE SCHOOL DEVICES
Middle School students are not required to bring their devices the first two days of school. Middle School students will have devices set up after school begins during their study hall classes the first weeks of school as follows: 8th grade on August 19 and 20, 7th grade on August 21 and 22, and 6th grade on August 26 and 27. The students are not required to bring their device to school until those set up dates.
SIXTH GRADE PREP DAY
Sixth Grade Prep Day will be Friday, August 16 from 8:05 a.m.-3:20 p.m. on campus. Students will learn about their schedule, technology strategies, and skills to help them get familiar with Middle School life.

SAVE THE DATE: CLASS RETREATS
Class retreats for grades 9-12 will start in the fall semester. The purpose is to bring students together as a class at the beginning of the school year, welcome new students, and help students draw closer to Christ, connect, and create moments for lasting memories that carry throughout the year. FINE ARTS ADVERTISING
For any 7th-12th grade girls interest in golf, there is still an opportunity to play this fall. All experience and ability levels are welcome. All that’s required is a good attitude and a willingness to work hard. For more information, please contact the athletic office.
