Giving Tuesday

Transformational learning anchored in Christ — that's what your support on #GivingTuesday will accomplish at SCS!

2020 is certainly a year for the record books. With all the last-minute changes, cancellations, uncertainty, and difficulties, Southside Christian School has remained constant. We continue to prepare students for all God has for them in the future. Students leave SCS ready for life.

We invite everyone to participate in preparing students for life. Gifts on Giving Tuesday will contribute to a world-class, life-changing education. Your support enables this kind of impact on your children and children like yours.

Continuing to build an extraordinary environment takes real participation from everyone. Would you prayerfully consider donating a gift to Southside Christian School on Giving Tuesday, Dec. 1?

Your gift will support two primary needs:

1. Educational Technology
SCS has a technology roadmap that outlines new technology to be used in the learning process and how we can use that technology well. The pandemic put that plan into high gear, enabling us to offer simultaneous instruction in person and online to serve students in various settings. To date, SCS has invested almost $750,000 in educational technology this year alone! Would you consider giving to help us continue investing in technology so that we can provide an excellent, biblical education on campus and online?

2. Tuition Assistance
Each year we receive interest from families who want a Christ-centered education for their child but cannot support the full cost of tuition. We do not offer any scholarships. Instead, we provide tuition assistance to families who meet all enrollment requirements and need help meeting the tuition requirements. 100% of our tuition assistance is needs-based, meaning the sole criteria is a demonstrated financial need. Would you consider giving to help us provide generous tuition assistance for families?

Current Parent

The transition to SCS this year has been completely worth the investment. I love coming home to my son telling me all he is learning. He is thriving at SCS. I know his teacher loves him. She is helping us instill Christ-like character in our son, and we see it at home.

The Fund for SCS is a tangible way to have an impact at SCS. That impact comes by donations that fund new expansion projects that are outside our normal operating budget. These expansion projects may include professional development, Fine Arts opportunities, Athletic Opportunities, Facilities improvements, or additional Tuition Assistance to serve more students. Together, with everyone doing something, we can all make significant impact on students at SCS now and in the future. I would love to share our current projects and how, together, we can help SCS excel still further. Stop by my office on campus, give me a call, or let's do coffee or lunch to discuss!
