Southside Christian School prepared me to confront many belief systems with the truth of God’s Word. Academically, I was able to bring more than a semester’s worth of college credits to Clemson. I feel privileged to have studied there for twelve years.

Southside prepared me for the academic rigors of college and provided the spiritual foundation that has helped me stand strong in my Christian beliefs. Attending SCS since second grade has solidified my faith, helping me to defend my beliefs, which will serve me well in the future.

Southside has had a tremendous impact on how I am conducting myself and performing in my classes this semester. I truly believe the spiritual training I received at SCS has forever changed my life and will continue to help me throughout the rest of my college career.

I think the thing that helped me most at SCS was the teachers. They truly love their jobs and their students. They want their students to succeed in all areas – not just academics – and are willing to go way out of their way to help. I love the teachers at Southside and will never forget the help and impact they have made on my life.

The small class sizes and caring teachers at Southside helped me to develop academically and personally. The Christian atmosphere created by the teachers and administration was also very encouraging to me. In addition, the worldviews class has aided me immensely in reinforcing my beliefs about the Bible, Jesus, and Christianity. These aspects of my experience at Southside have helped make the transition to college significantly easier.

The preparation I received in math at SCS enabled me to score high enough on the CLEP test to exempt all of the math classes in college. As a result, I was able to begin classes within my broadcast communications major, which has been a thrilling experience. The transition to college life was definitely made easier by my years at Southside.
