Valerie Brett teaches K4 at Southside Christian School.  This is her fifth year in Early Education at Southside. 

Mrs. Brett graduated in 1992 from the University of South Carolina and earned her South Carolina Early Childhood Credential through Greenville Technical College in 2005. 

Mrs. Brett and her husband, Kevin, have one daughter, Kate, who is entering fourth grade at Southside Christian School.  Mrs. Brett likes hiking, tennis, reading, and scrapbooking.  She enjoys eating at Arizona Steakhouse and Carrabba's and shopping at Barnes & Noble and Hobby Lobby.  Mrs. Brett and her family are members of First Baptist Church of Simpsonville.

Mrs. Brett's favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11:  For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
