Susan LaFlam teaches Chemistry, Physics, and Engineering at Southside Christian School.  Prior to coming to Southside Christian, she taught at Upstate Homeschool Co-op and homeschooled her children for six years.  Her previous engineering experience includes in chemical manufacturing, environmental consulting, and product development.

Mrs. LaFlam graduated from Auburn University with a BS in chemical engineering. 

 Mrs. LaFlam and her husband have two sons at Southside Christian School, Josh and Andrew.  She enjoys family time, running, and baseball, and has authored her own Christian book, Success for Women.  Mrs. LaFlam likes to eat at Moe’s and to shop at Talbots.  She and her family attend Grace Church on Pelham Rd.

Mrs. LaFlam’s favorite verse is Joshua 1:9:  Have I not commanded you?  Be strong and courageous!  Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.
