Janet Mitchell teaches Spanish for all grade levels at Southside Christian School.  She also serves as the yearbook advisor and teaches Newspaper in grades 7-8.  Prior to coming to Southside Christian, she taught in North Hills, PA; at Clinton Christian School in Upper Marlboro, MD;  Easley Christian School in Easley, SC; Academy of the Arts in Greenville; and the Home school Co-op in Travelers Rest.

Mrs. Mitchell graduated with a BA from Bob Jones University.  She was named Teacher of the Year at Easley Christian School.

Mrs. Mitchell enjoys reading, cross-stitching, and working logic problems.  She has been on one mission trip to New Mexico.  She likes to eat at Denny’s or IHOP, and she likes to shop at Wal-Mart.  She and her husband, Dick, have one son, Mark.  The Mitchells attend North Hills Community Church.

Mrs. Mitchell’s favorite verse is I Thessalonians 5:24:  Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.
