Laurie Loper teaches Government and Worldviews at Southside Christian School.  In addition, she serves as the sponsor for the Youth in Government club.  She has fifteen years of teaching experience at Southside Christian.

Miss Loper graduated cum laude with a BS in social studies education from Bob Jones University and received a master's degree in education and social studies from Furman University.  She is ACSI certified and has been named Who’s Who Among American Teachers.

Miss Loper enjoys gardening, reading, and hiking.  She attends Greenville Christian Fellowship.

Miss Loper’s favorite verse is II Peter 3:18:  But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
