Vicki Jones teaches fifth grade math and science at Southside Christian School.  She has been at Southside for twenty-nine years.  For the past several years she has organized and led the Bible quiz program for grades 3-6.  She has also organized the students’ participation in the ACSI Spelling Bee for grades 1-8.

Mrs. Jones graduated from Bob Jones University in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education.  She has been named Who’s Who Among American Teachers several times.  In 1988, she was named Teacher of the Year for the elementary school at SCS.  Mrs. Jones currently holds certification through the Association of Christian Schools International.

Mrs. Jones is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, and is a big Cincinnati Reds fan.  Her husband, Bob, is a teacher and administrator at Southside Christian School.  They met while teaching at SCS and have two children, Cameron and McKenna, both of whom attend SCS.

Mrs. Jones enjoys spending time with her family and friends.  She likes to eat at Arizona Steakhouse or Fuddrucker’s, and she likes to shop at Belk.  She and her family attend Southside Fellowship. 

Mrs. Jones’s favorite verse is I Thessalonians 5:24:  Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.
