 Sherri Broyles
Sherri Broyles serves as the Lower School Assistant Principal. She began at SCS as a substitute teacher in 1995 and became a full-time third grade teacher in 1997. After teaching third, and eventually, fourth grade for five years, Sherri took a two-year leave to home school her daughter. She returned to SCS in 2003 to teach fifth grade math. In the fall of 2004, Sherri began developing a science lab for the Lower School. Discovery Lab opened in the fall of 2005 as a fully-equipped science lab. Students come to the lab every week for hands-on science labs and science enrichment.
Mrs. Broyles holds a BS degree in nursing from Clemson University and has taken teaching courses from Converse College. She is certified with ACSI as an elementary teacher.
Mrs. Broyles lives with her husband, Randy, on Lavender Hill Farms where they own and board horses. Both of their children, Zach and Caitlin, are graduates of SCS. Zach leads worship at a local church, and Caitlin is a sophomore at College of Charleston.
Mrs. Broyles enjoys horseback riding, reading, working out at the gym, and spending time with her family, including the family's five dogs. She and her husband are members at Crossroads Community Church.
Mrs. Broyles's favorite Scripture passage is Revelation 19:11-16.
