Alison Hynds teaches first grade at Southside Christian School. After five years at home with her children, she returned to the classroom in 2005. She is a Furman graduate and taught K5 at Shannon Forest Christian School for six years.

Mrs. Hynds and her husband, Greg, have two children, Mason and Morgan, both enrolled at Southside Christian School.  Mrs. Hynds enjoys sewing, both for her family and for others.  She likes to eat at Rafferty’s and shop at  Kohl’s and Bath and Body Works.  She and her family are members at Summit Church.

Mrs. Hynds’s favorite verse is Psalm 40:8: I desire to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart.
