 Jeannie Forrest
Jeannie Forrest serves as lead teacher for 3-year-olds at Southside Christian School. In the past she served as a staff trainer and also an internal auditor with a national restaurant, however, she felt called by God to something different. Working with young children at SCS finally gave her a peace about God's plan in her life. Working with young children at Southside Christian School since 1998, she has worked with children 18 months to 3 years olds.
Mrs. Forrest was born in Korea and grew up in Ohio. Moving to South Carolina to work and eventually marry her husband, Greenville quickly became her new home. After the birth of her fourth child she became passionate about the field of early education and is presently a student working toward a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education.
Mrs. Forrest and her husband, Richard, have four children, three of whom currently attend SCS. Her oldest child attended SCS since K5 and graduated from SCS in 2009. She is now attending Winthrop University. Mrs. Forrest enjoys spending time with her family, cheering for her children in their sporting events, running, reading, and continually learning about God through Bible studies. The Forrests are members of Rocky Creek Baptist Church.
Mrs. Forrest’s favorite verse is Philippians 4:6: Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God
