God created music to be an important tool in offering praise and giving God glory. To some He was granted special talent to make music. To these individuals, He has commanded that they learn to, "sing and play skillfully." (Psalm 33:3) This is why Southside Christian School's performing arts department exists.
It is our purpose in ministry to develop these gifts in the lives of those students who are gifted, as well as helping all students have an appreciation for the beauty of great art.
If you would like more information on any area of the performing arts, please contact John Furrow. The following information is designed to keep you informed on what is going on in the Performing Arts department at SCS.
