God created music to be an important tool in offering praise and giving God glory.  To some He was granted special talent to make music.  To these individuals, He has commanded that they learn to, "sing and play skillfully." (Psalm 33:3) This is why Southside Christian School's performing arts department exists.

It is our purpose in ministry to develop these gifts in the lives of those students who are gifted, as well as helping all students have an appreciation for the beauty of great art.

Fine Arts Headlines:

• Congratulations to Grace Bryson, Alicia Doyle, Kirsten Onken, Brooke Foster, Bethany McInnis, Holly Theodore, Mollie Williams, Audrey Jones and Emily Silvey for being selected to participate in this year’s South Carolina All State Chorus.
• Southside Christian School art students have the privilege of being the first school to have their artwork displayed in the new Village Hospital in Greer, over 35 works are on display!  
• Both Mrs. Vicki Fox and Mr. Benji Allsep are active in the SC Music Educators Association.  Mrs. Fox serves on the All State Chorus Committee.
