Each child is a unique creation of God and will learn according to his natural tendencies that are present at birth. SCS believes that the learning process must not only be consistent over time but it must also be consistent with the abilities and talents with which God has endowed each child. Teachers incorporate various learning styles into the curriculum so children may gain knowledge through his or her way of processing information. This makes learning interesting and meaningful to each child.
Children are active learners and are very curious. Play is a child’s work and plenty of opportunities to learn through play are offered at SCS by providing a variety of learning centers to give children choices throughout the day. Teachers build strong relationships with the students and parents thus providing a trusting environment within which students can best learn.
