Southside Christian School is looking for a qualified individual to assume the role of Network Administrator. This important position has a number of responsibilities related to the reliability and performance of the school-wide computing network(s). The scope of this opportunity will begin with the administration of the school's servers and workstations - insuring that they are properly configured for this unique environment, and that their operational efficiency is maintained. From that foundation, this position has the opportunity to expand to include wireless networking and other technologies that would be useful the instructional environment. SCS uses Microsoft products for most school administrative functions.

The ideal candidate would have at least 2+ years experience in the administration of internal networks. A relevant two-year degree is required, but a four-year technical degree is desired. Microsoft certifications would be helpful. Candidates need to have demonstrated trouble-shooting skills and the ability to work independently on complex projects. The ability to teach basic computing concepts to teaching staff is a plus.

The Network Administrator will work as an I.T. member of the Operations Department, along with others who enjoy serving the Lord in a ministry-like setting.
