High School Mathematics Teacher – full-time, 2018-2019 school year
Qualified applicants must have appropriate teaching degree and experience with biblical integration at the secondary level in mathematics. Experience teaching secondary level mathematics (Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics) is preferred. A strong record of quality instruction and classroom management is required. Lower School Permanent Substitute Teacher, Full-Time, 2018-2019 school year
The Lower School permanent substitute teacher serves as the first call for substitute needs within the Lower School. Qualified applicants should have experience supervising students, teaching lessons, and working in a school environment. The permanent substitute teacher must be willing to assist other teachers and office personnel as needed. Lower School Teacher, Full-Time,2018-2019 school year
Southside Christian School is currently seeking a Lower School teacher for the 2018-2019 school year. An elementary teaching degree and a strong record of quality instruction and classroom management is required. Experience with biblical integration is also essential. The ideal applicant is able to create a fun and professional learning environment with young students. The applicant must demonstrate excellence in planning, teamwork, and communication. Academic Resource Center Educational Therapist, Full-Time, 2018-2019 school year
SCS has an opening for the 2018-2019 school year in the Academic Resource Center for an educational therapist with experience in National Institute of Learning Development (NILD) and/or Wilson Reading. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or higher in special education or elementary education with experience working with students with learning disabilities using multi-sensory techniques. Director of Advancement, Full-Time, 12 months
The Director of Advancement will oversee all functions which serve to advance the school, including all gift income, strategic planning and management, marketing, and communications.
This person will oversee the strategy, structure, and management of all Southside Christian School’s fundraising efforts and is responsible for the planning, organization, and coordination of the efforts that are necessary to raise gift income. This will include annual fund gift income, small capital projects, capital campaigns, and any ongoing planned giving efforts.
The Director of Advancement works under the immediate supervision of, and reports directly to, the Superintendent.

Information Technology – Systems Administrator, full time, 12 month
We have an immediate opening for a Systems Administrator, to join the Information Technology team within the Operations Department. The preferred candidate would have verifiable experience in Windows server management, wired and wireless networking, mobile device management, and hardware life cycle management. Information Technology Department personnel also provide help desk support to approximately 150 faculty and ensure that roughly 800 students can use computing devices for educational purposes. The qualified applicant would have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant degree and a minimum of five years’ work experience in information technology. Certifications such as A+, Network+, Microsoft, Cisco, and VMWare would provide evidence of adequate knowledge in relevant areas.
Operations department employees are encouraged to invest in the lives of students where appropriate. Such opportunities may include coaching, small group leadership, J-term participation, and school sponsored short term mission trips.

Early Education Afternoon Assistant, Part-time
The ideal candidate will enjoy working with children and have a good understanding of child development and safety guidelines. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a minimum of a high school diploma. It is critical to possess excellent skills in managing a group of children, the ability to use good judgment in making decisions, and good communication skills. Bus Driver – Part-Time 2017-2018 School Year
Qualified applicants must have a commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A, B, or C with passenger and bus endorsements and no intrastate restrictions. Air brake qualification and South Carolina bus driver certification are highly desirable, but SCS is willing to assist in attaining these qualifications. This is a part-time position with opportunities to drive for field trips and athletic events. Scheduling is flexible and pay will be commensurate with qualifications.
