Early Education consists of students from 18 months (EE2) through 1st grade. The curriculum is designed to meet each child's developmental needs by offering a stimulating hands-on approach to learning. This encourages appropriate development for emotional stability, social competency, intellectual ability, and spiritual awareness and maturity.

Early Education Principal

Harriett Neal serves as the Early Education Principal. She has also served Southside as a fourth grade teacher and the Early Education Assistant Principal. Prior to joining Southside, Mrs. Neal taught preschool and K5 at another Christian school, taught a class for developmentally delayed preschoolers, and worked in the Parenting Program with Spartanburg District 4 schools.

Mrs. Neal holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Charleston Southern University and a Master of Education from Converse College.
