Meet Dr. Stephen Reel

Message from Dr. Reel

At Southside Christian School, we believe academic excellence is the natural by-product of a Christ-centered life. The pursuit of knowledge infused with biblical truth equips students to be godly and successful in college, career, and life.

Jesus said, "When a student is fully trained, he will be like his teacher." (Luke 6:40) Teachers are the architects of a school’s culture, and they serve as role models for their students. The Lord has graciously supplied SCS with teachers who are godly, gifted, credentialed, experienced, and relationally committed to spiritual and academic excellence. As a parent of three SCS graduates, I can personally attest to this fact.

Our new, state-of-the-art science lab allows students to worship God through the study of His creation and receive the highest level of college-preparatory instruction. Many of our graduates are pursuing college majors in medicine and other scientific fields of study. We want every student wholeheartedly embracing biblical creation and actively pro-life as they take their faith into college and career.

Southside Christian School is committed to providing an education that develops the Christian mind, nurtures the soul, and shapes the character...for today and for the future. It is a joy to participate with God in the equipping of young lives to become His masterpieces (Ephesians 2:10).
